Will your CV pass the ATS?

An applicant tracking system reads your CV as plain text, looks for standard sections and contact details, and ranks you by how many of the job’s keywords appear. A CV that looks great to a person can still score badly if it is a scanned image, uses unusual headings, or simply does not use the words in the job ad.

This checker reads your PDF in the browser — nothing is uploaded — and tests what every ATS relies on: readable text, email and phone, Experience, Education and Skills sections, length, dates, measurable results and, if you paste the job description, a keyword match showing which important words you are missing. It works for English and Arabic CVs.

    Fixing the most common problems

    • Scanned or image CV: rebuild it as text with our free CV builder.
    • Low keyword match: mirror the job ad’s exact terms for skills you really have.
    • Missing sections: use familiar headings like “Experience”, not creative ones.
    • One CV per job type: tailor the summary and skills each time.

    How to use it

    1. Choose your CV (PDF) or paste its text.
    2. Paste the job description (optional, but better).
    3. Get your score and the fixes that matter most.

    Questions

    What is an ATS?

An applicant tracking system is the software many employers use to collect CVs and filter them by keywords before a person reads them.

    Is my CV uploaded?

No. Your CV is read inside your browser and never leaves your device.

Is the score the same as a real ATS?

Every ATS is different, so no checker can promise a result. This one tests what they all rely on: readable text, standard sections, contact details and the job’s keywords.
