The client
kooki's kookies is a Lebanese fresh-baked cookie brand. Small food brands in Lebanon usually take orders through Instagram and WhatsApp — which works until the messages pile up and orders get lost between chats.
What they needed
- A place where customers can see everything on offer and order without a long back-and-forth.
- A way to mark items sold out the moment a batch is gone, so nobody orders what is not there.
- Offers and add-ons (like soft-serve) that customers can pick themselves.
- Pickup or delivery, chosen by the customer at checkout.
- No commission on every order, unlike the delivery apps.
What we built
A branded online ordering site with clear categories, live sold-out states, offers and add-ons, and a checkout that asks only what the shop needs: name, phone, pickup or delivery, and the address. The menu is managed from a simple admin, so the team changes prices, photos and stock themselves.
It runs on Restbits, our ordering platform, so the shop keeps every order and every customer contact — there is no marketplace in the middle taking a cut.
How customers use it
- They tap the link from Instagram, WhatsApp or a QR code.
- They browse, add cookies and extras, and choose pickup or delivery.
- The order arrives complete — no screenshots, no "what flavours do you have?"
Why this works for small food brands in Lebanon
Social media brings people in; an ordering page closes the sale. Keeping both — Instagram for discovery and your own link for orders — is usually the cheapest way to grow without giving a share of every order to an app. Read more in our guide to online ordering without delivery-app commissions.
